Projected payoff dates from your own pace

Path estimates a date from the payments you already log. It is a projection, not a guarantee.

Projection, not a promise

Path can estimate a payoff date from the payment pace you log. That estimate is useful only if you treat it as a projection.

It looks at balances and payments you entered. It does not talk to your creditor. Change your payments and the date moves.

That is the contract. No guaranteed timelines appear on Lotus Canyon.

When a projection helps

A projected date can:

  • Make a long payoff feel finite
  • Show how a larger payment shifts the path
  • Support monthly milestone recaps
  • Stay honest when your pace slows

It should never be marketed as a locked-in result.

Pair it with the visual path

The marker moving after each logged payment is still the centerpiece. The date is supporting context on Path.

Use it calmly

Check the projection after a real payment, adjust if you want, and keep paying your creditor directly.
